I will always be true to myself, I will never give anyone the privilege to hurt me. I will Never let anyone make me feel anything less. I will Always know that I am more than enough and deserves to be happy. I will be who I am and will remember to remain humble. Good things will come my way, but I will let go of negativity first and I will be stronger than ever.
I PROMISE!

do your own thing and work hard. The right people the ones who really belong in

Hey lovelies! Welcome to a new week of kennysdiary! I hope everyone all had a great week?
Today’s blog post is about my day out shopping in Westfield and give will also be giving a review of Kitchen E20 in Stratford.
I always try to change my wardrobe at the beginning of every year just because I get bored of my old cloths quick lol. So, I went with a friend of mine on a mini shopping and had a dinner afterwards.
Fun Fact: it was also my first time in Westfield. I mean, I’ve been there once but it was on a geography school trip Lol.
Westfield London is a large shopping centre in White City, west London, England, developed by the Westfield Group at a cost of £1.6bn, on a brownfield site formerly the home of the 1908 Franco-British Exhibition.
I wish I could enter all the shops as there was a lot of designers shops there but the shops I visited was boot (dior section), Zara, Berksha, new look, H&M etc..
To be honest, Zara came through! Everything I got there fits and was all on sales so I literally got everything on bargain. My Miss Dior perfume was exactly the scent I was going for. It’s one of my favourite smell at the moment.
After we got tired, we decided to stop shopping and go find something to eat. Kitchen E20 was one of the closet restaurant to the shopping centre. About 6 mins walk.
This restaurant I will rate a 6/10 because 1, the chair is so low and as a tall babe, it was not comfortable for me. 2, the meal was not the best. The pizza we had was so dry and crusty. The wine though was good. Although, they have pretty interiors and a very clean quiet environment, but it seems more like a place for business talk and to study.
Overall, I will rate it a 6/10 and wouldn’t recommend when you are planning to have a proper date or full meal.
Other than that, it was a very good day out in London and I can’t wait to go back!.
Thank you so much for reading this post.

Learning other people’s culture and doing things their way is one of the things On my bucket list for 2022.
One of the things I’ve learnt this year is that, no matter how something in other cultures might look or sound to you, never criticise it because that particular thing, can mean a lot to them.
“Appreciating another culture involves an interest in learning about that culture”
One of the first culture appreciation I did this year is my FAUX LOCS HAIR.
Faux locs are basically commitment-free dreads. A fun alternative to braids
Faux locs is for people willing to recreate a dreadlocks look but with a handmade locs instead.
I wanted to have a different look and thought how can i achieve a dread look without actually growing a dread lol and the first option that came to mind was faux locs. (The dreadlocks hairstyle first appeared in Jamaica during post emancipation).
There’s different ways to have your faux locs done. After exhausting all possible ways, the most protective way for me was to crochet it. Also, I am not willing to carry this locs for long so there was no reason why I should have it locked in my natural hair.
The amount of compliments and look of surprises I’ve gotten from Jamaican descendants about hair has made me realise that no matter how something in other cultures might look or sound to you, never criticise it because that particular thing, can mean a lot to them.
The first thing they ask me with a very surprised look is “IS THAT YOUR NATURAL HAIR” and at that moment, I just knew how much of a big deal having a very long locs is to them. Knowing that I’m wearing a hair that means so much to other people/culture Made me feel good. And I’m sure they can tell I love and appreciate it too. Whenever I get asked, I reply with a big smile on my face “NO IT’S NOT BUT I WISH IT WAS” lol
I got my Faux Locs from Amazon, it’s a 36 Inch hair and can be reused
I love my hair so much, I’m loving the happy surprised looks it gives Jamaican people when they see me out with it and I can’t wait to slay it even more.
Hey lovelies! Merry Christmas and happy New Year! Whoop whoop it’s 2022 and I’m super excited about all the good things coming my way this year!
I think I am one of those people who is more excited about Christmas than I am with my birthday. I’m only excited about my birthday when it’s a significant age. Spending time with friends, families, setting up Christmas trees and going gifts shopping are all the typical stuff that makes it’s exciting and special. Everyone comes back home from far and near to eat, drink, open presents and Merry Merry away into the Christmas vibes. It’s a very special different day compare to the rest of the days in the year.
Usually, we spend Christmas in my mum’s house with all my siblings coming home with their children and partners. However, this year was a bit different. We decided to visit my mum’s sister in London for Christmas.
25th December – CHRISTMAS DAY
Spending Christmas with my aunty was one of the greatest time/moment I will never forget. Spending time with my cousins, aunties and siblings made me realise how much family means to me. Family really is everything we have and can’t be traded.
We chilled in the living room with my aunties and cousins eating roasted potatoes, lamb chop, gravy and vegetables with a glass of champagne. We also played a lot to Christmas games and i wouldn’t have spent my Christmas any other way.
26th December – BOXING DAY
On the 26th of December I visited my Grandmother grave and that was my favourite memory of the year 2021. Visiting my grandmother grave on the actual day she died made everything perfect. I’m not the most spiritual person, but I definitely felt her presence. Personally, I’m scared of anything that has to do with ghost. Now imagine someone like me visiting a burial ground? If ghost are real, surely they were active on the day? Lmaoo 🤣
“It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. 1 Corinthians 15:35-55
After leaving my grandmother burial ground, we heeded to the shopping centre for some shopping as it happens to be Boxing Day and we were in London so we thought we might as well make use of the opportunity.
1st January- NEW YEARS DAY
On the first of January, I was in church until midnight. It has always been a tradition in my family to always visit church on New Year’s Eve into the new year.
Afterwards, I visit a bar with my friends and sister to go have a drink and was back home.
At 3pm on the 1st of January, I visited my twin sister house to go have some food and drink as we have decided we won’t be celebrating in my mum’s house this year. To be honest, not celebrating in your house for a change will make you realise what you’ve been missing out on. It’s makes the holiday less stressful, and you actually get to enjoy been taken care off by others. Lol.
We left my twin sister’s place at 7p and came back home. At this point, I was too full all I did was catch up with “EMILY IN PARIS” and went to bed lol.
Been back to reality does not feel right but let’s go get it!!! I hope everyone has a great 2022! And cheers to the New Years 🥳🥂

I’ve seen a lot of New year New me Instagram captions flying around but this year, I don’t fancy finding a new me, I’m happy as I am.
I was able to set my goals for the year 2022, but I really can’t be bothered to create a New Year’s resolution, setting goals and resolution when I was younger we’re always more achievable and fun to tick off a list. However, for me, the things I want to achieve in 2022 are so big and daunting that I will rather not put that pressure on myself.
I want to get up to a lot this year and the only way I believe I will be able to achieve it all is by letting God take the led. So, I’ve decided that I will be taking each day in 2022 a step at a time instead of overwhelming myself with things to achieve. Being a grown up means always having a list of to-do’s and possibly never really feeling satisfied so I’m not looking too far ahead, let’s just figure what to do in January for now.
I want to live in the moment and not think too far ahead. I want to appreciate what I have achieved at that particular moment, spend time with the people that matter and be myself at all times.
