Pergola on the Wharf

Pergola is a restaurant and rooftop bar in canary wharf.

First off, all, Tik-Tok made me go to Pergola and it is honestly one of the prettiest rooftop restaurants have visited in London.

Having a Saturday brunch in Pergola was such a refreshing experience. Really nice place, big space, nice music, tasty food and drinks, and prices are average and affordable. I had the waffles and bacon with fried sweet potatoes with orange juice.

The restaurant was pretty and well decorated with a lot of greens and aesthetically beautiful.

Before visiting Pergola, make sure you take with you your ID. I forgot to take mine with me, but the security was so lovely he allowed me in without one. it can also get busy, so make sure you book before going in.

The restaurant is facing the river which gave it a more boujee vibe. If that is your thing, then Pergola on the Wharf is the place to be.

Right in front of the restaurant, is the Crossrail place roof garden. This garden is a lovely quiet place with wonderful shrubs, pants, and trees. If you want a safe place where you can talk a walk and clear your mind after having a drink, then I will recommend this pathway. Crossrail place roof garden is a hidden piece of beauty, and it is completely free to walk through, take in the views and to get some pretty images for your memories.

Overall, the service was beautiful, and they made sure we enjoyed ourselves. My friends and I will be visiting this rooftop restaurant again.

LIFE UPDATE: Forever Grateful

Life has a way of showing itself! One minute you have it all figured out and the next everything is falling apart, and you keep asking yourself am I just unlucky or am I your last-born God? Lmao. Yes, I believe in God’s timing but sometimes it just feels like is there even a timing at all? Have you ever felt like you are just living and nothing special is happening in your life? You are enjoying life, but you are also not enjoying life? You’re basically just winging it and going with life? And you don’t even know if there’s God’s timing because it feels like you’re trying your best but there’s no difference?

I decided to take time off social media and only upload when I feel like sharing my day with my friends and followers. I decided to take a time off social media or from uploading my personal life because It’s not going how I planned for it too. although, I am not one who gets soaked into social media and into people’s personal life to the point where I wish I was doing as good as them. However lately, I found myself comparing other people’s social media life to my own reality and at that moment, I knew I needed a break from the internet. I knew that wasn’t me and I was not willing to let myself get pressured like that. I started doing self-evaluation and spending my time on things I enjoy doing. I started reading more good books and listening to soulful music. I’m not going to come on here and sugar coat things, life has been hard. Life has felt uncertain. But one thing is for sure, i will keep going I will keep achieving and I will keep surviving.

If you ever find yourself in a situation where you are comparing your life to other people online controlled content, please know it’s time to take a step back and do some self-evaluation as to why you are doing that? Take a time of social media and do some self-care and shower yourself with all the love you deserve. Remember, no one is showing their struggles and you only see what they want you to see.

Whoever is reading this post and you think you can relate; I hope you understand that you are trying your best and life isn’t all roses and flowers. Some days will be smooth, and some days will be rocky but understand that how you handle both days is what matters. For me, on my good days, I thank God and enjoy it and on my bad days, I try to remain positive and remind myself that this too shall pass!

Review: Neverland Beach Club

Neverland beach club is an outdoor bar and rooftop style party venue in London. Neverland is a Japanese themed restaurant and bar by the river. While I was there, it felt like I was in Kyoto with cherry blossoms and lanterns.

Neverland provides guests with a stylish and multifaceted venue consisting of the brand’s signature beach, a large indoor rooftop-style pergola, two pop up restaurants, two bars, tasty food and colourful cocktails, live DJs who plays all types of music genre from afrobeat, to RnB, Hip Hop etc……

Neverland Beach Club is one of the best places I have visited with wonderful experience. the atmosphere and vibe were very lovely and authentic, and the interior design gave it a superb touch. It is also an instagrammable and aesthetically pleasing location. It is a perfect place if you enjoy taking candid pictures. Oh yeah, the staffs are very pleasant. On arrival, the greeting from the security was very accommodating and friendly.

The beach club accommodates bigger groups and is very spacious, so you won’t have to worry about bumping into anyone

I visited this place with 2 of my friends and I honestly will be going back there again. Overall, Neverland is an amazing place to be. My friends and I really had a nice time. Everything about the place is so beautiful.

Ps: when we visited, it only cost us about £10 to get in and an ID will be required.
