Movie Info – The Woman King is a remarkable story of the Agojie. They are the all-female unit of warriors who protected the African Kingdom of Dahomey in the 1800s with skills and fierceness unlike anything the world has ever seen and was inspired by true events. 

This has got to be one of the greatest movies I have seen. I was hooked from start to finish. I feel like the filmmaker, Gina Prince-Bythewood used this movie to prove 2022 as the year of female-driven year. However, the woman king has brought this to another level by celebrating black women through its power, pride, and poise.

This movie showed its viewers how men can advocate for women without being intimidated. The story line was awesome and the acting and actors were fantastic. You could tell and see the passion in them as they act. The movie represented the near and better future to come for us women. As a woman, the ending will make you proud.

It is an incredible movie that everyone needs to see at least once in their lifetime. I am not a big fan of action or marvels, but this one has made me fall in love with this genre of movies. 

It’s a beautiful movie and I must say I had a great time at the movies it was indeed a rare cinematic moment. The storyline was beautiful and I most likely will go and see it again LOL.
