Fashion: How To Dress like A Parisian

I have never visited Paris, but I was able to get a French girl style with this outfit.

If you know me, you know I enjoy trying on new fits and exploring different cultures.

I have always have love for Parisians and their unique way of dressing. Their way of dressing as always seem romantic to me and I am a lover of romance. Sadly, I have never visited Paris but that will not stop my obsession with the Parisian style. The French girls just seem to be the girls that gets it. They’ve mastered how to be Chic and they do it effortlessly.

While I was thinking of what to wear to dinner with my friend, we decided to look through social media and our own fashion idea to see how I can achieve the Parisian look I was aiming for. After deciding, my friend was able to suggest to me the few items that could help me achieve my Paris girl aesthetic. One of them was a beret. Keep scrolling to see the items that was able to help me achieve the Parisian look.

A mini skirt with split is a look that can take you from brunch with the girls to dinner with bae. I love mini skirts because I love to show my legs and it seems like the Parisian loves it too.

I paired my mini skirt with a cropped blazer, to give it a more classy chic look. Also, blazers is one of the Parisian aesthetic and pairing it with a mini skirt with split just seems like perfect combination.

In other to achieve a full Parisian look, my friend suggests that I pair this look with a beret. Berets are one of Parisians signature looks. The black beret was once considered the national cap of France in Anglo-Saxon countries and is part of the stereotypical image of the Onion Johnny. It is no longer as widely worn as it once was, but it remains a strong sign of local identity in the southwest of France.

I was quiet confused on what shoes to pair it with, but I ended up pairing it with a chunky black heels to give it a full all black look that fits well into the Parisians style. black is chic, timeless, slimming – all important things for Paris-folk.

Below are pictures I was able to capture in this beautiful Parisian inspired outfit!.
